Introducing Max, Jop and Odette

Introducing Max, Jop and Odette

We are honored to announce that three new members joined our band: Max Manenschijn, Jop Middelkamp and Odette Oosterkamp!

Max Manenschijn This twenty-year-old piano player and book-lover from Almelo finished his study as Application and Media Developer. At the moment he studies Creative Media and Game Technologies at Saxion. His specialty is Physics programming, game engines and C#. Max joined Baseflow as a Junior Software Developer and he is working on apps: “This is where the challenge lies, because I think app development is amazing, but I still have a lot to learn.”

Jop Middelkamp Jop grew up in Wijhe (NL) and used to work as a .NET developer. He worked on projects for SMEs and multinationals, “but I’m still a bit of a nerd and I can’t help but delve into interesting techniques, including Xamarin, besides work.” After 6.5 years of building web applications it was time for a change. So Jop stepped on a plane to Asia, with in his backpack a laptop so he could keep coding while backpacking. During his trip he came to the conclusion he wanted to stay in Vietnam, which he thinks is an extremely beautiful country and where he can enjoy his love for spicy food. He decided he wanted to work again, but it was time for a new challenge. That’s when he found Baseflow. “It was the ideal opportunity to take on a new challenge, extend my stay in Vietnam and to work with Xamarin!”

Odette Oosterkamp This cat-owner is currently thirty-three years young and graduated as a psychologist. She came in contact with programming only a few years ago, but it’s currently serious business. Odette began to really enjoy programming and started creating bigger projects in Android Studio. She even made two apps that are available in the Play Store. “What I like about programming is that you create something out of nothing. And it has a lot in common with psychology.”

Well Max, Jop and Odette: we think it’s fantastic that you all joined our team. We’re positive you’ll learn a lot and we can’t wait to learn from you as well. Welcome!
